I still have a programme from a friendly we played at Bishop Stortford where he is listed in the line up as Roger Birtsong!

Re: Rigobert SONG
Wasn't used properly. African player of the year in a holding midfield role, a poor centre half who in one game played centre half when Potts played in midfield. Never got that

Re: Rigobert SONG
I think that we all know what a stroke is! Thanks for the pedantic explanation.

You can have a dodgy ticker that can cause a stroke - look it up.

Heart defects are common in African footballers so there may be a link there.

Re: Rigobert SONG
A stroke is when blood supply is cut off to the brain, as opposed to the heart when it's a heart attack.

Normally fucked arteries rather than heart problems. People have small undetected strokes all of the time, but it looks like this isn't that so I retract my previous flippant remark. He looks in a bad way.

MINE at 40!!!!

On a serious note, hope he gets better soon. Played for us just after his Mum died I think.

Bit below the belt, 10 son.

Get well soon, Rigobert son.

I assume that the stroke was probably linked to an undetected heart defect. They'll probably find something.

I hope he dies

How shit was he?

"Song insisted that he did not want to be compared to Ferdinand, as he believed it was derogatory to his own talent."
